This section lists a few examples of how you can interact with and effectively use your iManage Work data from within MCP-enabled clients.
Based on the permissions you give to iManage MCP connectors and the tools available for each of these connectors during a session, the possibilities are immense. The following are some sample requests you can make while interacting with the MCP-enabled clients which can then securely connect to iManage:
NOTE: The angle brackets in the below text are added to text that represents variables for which you must supply values. Do not include them in the actual interaction with your MCP-enabled clients.
Find the latest NDA signed by <Client name> or find the employment agreement with <Name of the employee> and the terms of employment.
List all documents authored by me that are marked as confidential.
Get me the workspaces I've recently worked on.
Summarize the most recent version of the document <Document name or number>.
Give me an overview of the stock purchase agreement with <Name of company> and the list of post-purchase obligations for the key stakeholders.
Create a list of changes made by various users across all versions of <Document name or number>.
Fetch all emails and docs on co-authoring in the last 2 months.
Find the asset valuation spreadsheet by Jerry Isaac.
From iManage Work, fetch all versions of the transactions between <Company 1>–<Company 2> Share Purchase Agreements. Summarize the key negotiation points across these versions, highlighting how terms have evolved over time. Provide a comparative analysis that clearly identifies additions, deletions, revisions, and shifts in party positions throughout the negotiation history.
