In centralized file room operations, requests for physical records are manually delivered by file clerks. To improve coordination among file clerks, the application lets you to assign pending requests to yourself. In this way, other file clerks don't service the same set of requests.

To assign pending request(s) to yourself:

  1. In the Navigation pane, select the Circulation tab.

  2. In the File Activities pane, select Delivery Requests. Requests that are not yet assigned appear in the Pending Requests list.

  3. Select the Assign printed items to me check box.

  4. Select pending request(s), and then select Print Selected.
To print a report of all pending requests displayed, select Print Report. Alternatively, in the File Activities pane, select Delivery Requests Report.
A Pick List report is generated and opens in the Report View.

  5. On the Report View toolbar, select Print. The Print dialog opens.

  6. In the Print dialog, select a printer and verify the printer settings. Select OK.
The request(s) move from the Pending Requests list to the In Process Requests list.

  7. Continue with the following section.

NOTE: In the In Process Requests list, the Requests assigned to field is pre-populated with your user ID, so that only the requests assigned to you are displayed.
