When access request notification approval method, or the acknowledgement method for a hold or security memo, is set to "Reply to Notification Email" in iManage Security Policy Manager (SPM) Administration Console, the user response to such notifications will be an email reply. Therefore, a connection must be established between an email server and iManage Security Policy Manager Service in the Cloud, for responses to be read and applied.
The iManage Security Policy Manager email responder service provides this connection and enables, for example, attorneys using mobile devices to perform such approvals or acknowledgements by email.
