When performing drag-and-drop for items in the center panel, the security of items is impacted, as explained below:

  • If your administrator has enabled Bulk Security update, then the Match security to destination dialog appears when moving items, allowing you to match security to the destination or keep the current security.

  • If Bulk Security update isn’t enabled, then the security of the destination container is persisted.

  • If the Inherit Security From Parent Folder option is selected on the destination folder, moving an item or folder into it inherits the destination folder's security.

NOTE: The option to drag-and-drop tabs in the center panel isn’t supported.
