iManage Drive for Mac syncs with iManage Control Center to check for uploaded configuration files during startup and on a scheduled basis.

You can also specify how often iManage Drive for Mac can sync with iManage Control Center by using a new admin setting refresh_remote_admin_settings_frequency. The default value for this configuration is 1d. You can specify the frequency with a number followed by either of these options:

• d (days)

• m (months)

• h (hours)

• s (seconds)

If an admin_settings_mac.yaml (iManage Control Center admin settings) file is uploaded to iManage Control Center, iManage Drive for Mac downloads this file based on the value specified in the refresh_remote_admin_settings_frequency setting or when iManage Drive for Mac is restarted. After the file is downloaded, iManage Drive for Mac automatically restarts.
