You can change the label of iManage Drive (M:) to some other letter by doing the following:
In Windows Explorer, right-click on M: and select Rename.
If an Invalid drive label error message is displayed and you aren't able to rename the label, set C: drive as the volume name by doing the following:
Startup cmd window as administrator
Run the label command as shown below
C:\>label /MP C:
Volume in drive C: is *****
Volume Serial Number is
4217
-C238
Volume label (
32
characters, ENTER
for
none)?
Delete current volume label (Y/N)? Y
Changing labels for other devices on Microsoft Windows
You can change the label of other devices on your Microsoft Windows by doing the following:
Create a key for the drive letter in the registry with the path. For example, to create a key for C drive, run the following command: Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIcons\C\DefaultLabel
Modify the data field for the DefaultLabel and set the label for the drive letter to change the label of iManage Drive.
