iManage Next Generation Co-authoring is enabled by default for iManage Drive, but you can use the enable_coauthoring admin setting in the admin_settings.yaml file to enable or disable co-authoring in iManage Drive by setting it to true or false respectively. Optionally, they can also set coauthor_on_open to truein the same admin_settings.yaml file to open a file for co-authoring when users double-click a file.

The windows_native_driver is set to cloud_filter in the admin_settings.yaml file, by default. Administrators should set native_drive_letter to falseand also make sure that windows_native_driver setting isn't set to drive_native.

If windows_native_driver is set to drive_native or native_drive_letter isn't set to false, then users can’t co-author documents using iManage Work Next Generation Co-authoring.
