You no longer have to download the PDF and convert it to a text file before pasting the content into a Microsoft Word document.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-710\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.imanage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/InsertZoom-2.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"900\" height=\"441\" \/><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"What'snewiniManageWorkDesktopforWindows10.6.0-WorkingwithAdobeAcrobatProDCmadeeasier\">Working with Adobe Acrobat Standard and Professional versions made easier<\/h3>\n<p>If you use Adobe Acrobat Standard DC and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC versions in your organization, you can now open a document directly from iManage Work for the following operations:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Create a single or multiple PDF file(s) from any file saved in iManage Work and save it back to iManage Work.<\/li>\n<li>Create a PDF portfolio from files saved in iManage Work and save it back to iManage Work.<\/li>\n<li>Compare two PDF files saved in iManage Work.<\/li>\n<li>Combine two or more PDF files saved in iManage Work.<\/li>\n<li>Add bates numbers to the PDF files saved in iManage Work.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Need to open files from your local machine? Use the <strong>Open local file<\/strong> option available in the iManage <strong>Open<\/strong> dialog box to open any file that is available on your machine.<\/p>\n<p><strong>NOTE<\/strong>: These features are not supported when using Adobe Acrobat Reader.<\/p>\n<h3 id=\"What'snewiniManageWorkDesktopforWindows10.6.0-ChangeiManageWorkDesktopforWindowsUIlanguageforAdobeAcrobatReaderandAdobeAcrobatDC\">Want to use Adobe Acrobat in a different language?<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000000;\"><span style=\"color: #323e48;\">Previously, Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat DC supported localization based on the language configured in Microsoft Windows only. Now you can configure Adobe Acrobat to be in any supported language than the local setup. You can change this by using the <strong>Preferences<\/strong> &gt; <strong>Notifications<\/strong> tab.\u00a0For more information, refer to the\u00a0<em>Confirming file and folder changes<\/em>\u00a0section in\u00a0<em>iManage Drive User Guide 10.6.1<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-741\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.imanage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/SyncConfirm.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1001\" height=\"626\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"id-.What'sNew10.6.1(Windows)v10.6.1-Managingfilesyncissues\">Managing file sync issues<\/h2>\n<p>To ensure that the changes are not lost for files in your iManage Drive working directory that do not get synced to the server due to permission or other issues, the sync issues dialog box is displayed to enable you to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>copy the files to a desired location<\/li>\n<li>ignore some or all files listed<\/li>\n<li>right-click individual files, and select the desired action from the context menu displayed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more information, refer to the\u00a0<em>Managing file sync issues<\/em>\u00a0section in\u00a0<em>iManage Drive User Guide 10.6.1<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-742\" src=\"https:\/\/docs.imanage.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/11\/SyncIssues.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"625\" \/><\/p>\n<h2 id=\"id-.What'sNew10.6.1(Windows)v10.6.1-UImessagingenhancements:Workspaceandfolderactions\">UI messaging enhancements: Workspace and folder actions<\/h2>\n<p>When you perform a delete, copy, create, rename or move action that iManage Drive blocks, the application displays messages to communicate why the action was not allowed.
