While composing an email, forwarding or replying to an email, or sending a meeting invite, you can use the iManage Work panel in the email window in Microsoft Outlook to insert attachments (files or links to the files) that you want the sender to refer to.
In the email that you are composing in Microsoft Outlook, select iManage Work from the toolbar. To add the option to the toolbar, see Adding the iManage Work option to the toolbar.
From the panel that opens, select Insert attachment. The Select dialog box appears.
Locate the desired iManage Work file and select it.
Select Attach File. The document is attached to the email. Alternatively, select the Attach File drop-down button and select Attach Link (insert an NRL link) or Attach Hyperlink.

When the email recipient has iManage Work Desktop for Windows or another iManage Work desktop application and uses the hyperlink to open and edit a file from an integrated application, the changes are saved to iManage Work.
