Searching in a chat or channel


  1. Browse to your preferred chat or channel.

  2. Type @iManage inside the conversation box to invoke the iManage bot.

  3. Select iManage > Emails. Enter the required search syntax, followed by the corresponding metadata to find the email. The search results are displayed.
    OR
    Select iManage > Help to view the list of supported search syntax.

  4. Select the email you wish to share. The email appears as an adaptive card with the Copy (

    ) option.

  5. Select

    and then paste the email link in the desired chat to share it with other users.

Output: Emails sent to you from a sender named Morton are displayed in the search results.

  2. Select Enter.

Input: to Barbara

Output: Emails sent by you to a recipient named Barbara are displayed in the search results.

  2. Select Enter.

Input: keyword inflation

Output: All emails containing the term inflation are displayed in the search results.

Output: Email containing d ocument number 23 present in the work_apac library is displayed in the search result.
