In iManage Work, you can select multiple documents within a folder and easily update their security to align to that of the folder.

  1. Open the folder where you wish to align the security of multiple documents with the parent folder.

  2. Select the required documents > select Match security to parent folder from either the right-click context menu or the toolbar. The Match security to parent folder dialog box appears.

  3. Edit the exceptions and settings as required.

  4. Select Apply.

  5. Select the bell icon to view the status of Match security to parent folder actions in the Notifications panel.

NOTE:

This feature isn't supported for:

  • Saved search folders

  • Recent documents / Recent emails list
