Working with Logs

Logging facilitates advanced troubleshooting. To control the amount of logging, choose to enable either verbose or debug. To turn on verbose logging you must also enable debug logging.

Set the following registry key to turn on debug logging for Work 10 client:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\iManage\Work\10.0\Client\Coauthoring]

"DebugLog"=DWORD:1

"VerboseLog"=DWORD:1 // optional


Set the following registry key to turn on debug logging for DeskSite and FileSite:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Interwoven\WorkSite\8.0\CoAuthoring]

"DebugLog"=DWORD:1

"VerboseLog"=DWORD:1 // optional

The generated log files for Work 10 and Classic Clients are located under %localappdata%\iManage\Work\Logs\Coauthoring.
