Analysers

Introduction

Analysers allow you to quickly extract more specific bits of information from within larger pieces of text like clauses or paragraphs. These include names, places, dates, currencies, numbers, etc. They help you to transform a clause or paragraph that has been found (by a model or person) into more specific data-points, saving you manual effort.

This table summarises what each of the eight analysers do. Refer to the individual pages for more detail for each analyser type. Some of these analysers have an extra normalisation stage. Normalisation is a data service that converts data of the same type into a standard format - e.g. our system converts all recognised dates into the ISO-8601 date standard.
