The following iManage Work clients can be installed and configured to use iManage Work Cloud:

iManage Work Desktop for Windows

iManage continues to innovate in document and email management with the release of iManage Work 10.2. This release focuses on capabilities that improve user adoption, ensure that your content is secured throughout the entire document lifecycle and increase organization efficiency and agility. With iManage Work 10.2, users can quickly manage and access their work product without having to learn complicated DMS software, easily control who has access to their sensitive organization data, and stay up to date with product features without affecting the way they want to work.

With customer-managed encryption key (CMEK), the master key is owned and managed by the organization. These keys are never visible to iManage and the organization controls who can access these keys. Single sign-on across multiple applications improves usability and gives better auditing capabilities for tracking application changes to a document. Server-side refile unburdens the user and ensures that all security changes are properly applied.

iManage Work Desktop for Mac

iManage Work Desktop for Mac seamlessly integrates iManage Work document management capabilities with Microsoft Office for Mac, iWork Suite, Apple Mail, and Microsoft Outlook. It enables you to:

  • Open, edit, and save documents to iManage Work from your Mac device.

  • Search for or browse to open your documents saved to iManage Work and check in the latest copies as new documents or new versions of existing documents.

  • Save email messages and attachments from Apple Mail and Microsoft Outlook to iManage Work.

  • Insert documents and/or links to documents from iManage Work into emails as attachments.

  • Use NRL links to open documents in their native applications on Mac and save the changes you make to the documents in iManage Work.

  • Save Microsoft Office and iWork Suite documents to iManage Work as PDFs.

  • Add and remove footers for Microsoft Word documents saved to iManage Work.

  • Open documents from non-integrated applications using Preview app and then save the documents to iManage Work as PDFs.

  • Check for and install the latest application updates to enable you to use the latest features.

  • Multiple authentication options:

    • SAML (Claims-based authentication): SAML authentication validates your login against a desired authorization provider used in your environment. This allows you to provide identification using multiple options including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

    • Network: Network login allows you to log in with your domain credentials. Network Login requires a Work Anywhere SSL connection.

    • Explicit: Explicit log allows you to log in with a user ID and password stored in the iManage database.

  • Microsoft Office Integration on the Mac:

    • Open and preview Office documents from iManage Work.

    • Edit Office documents in iManage Work.

iManage Work Email Management for Gmail

iManage Work Email Management for Gmail is the perfect solution for G-suite professionals to manage all email communications related to engagements, enforce security on sensitive content, and easily find and share relevant information between professionals and clients without wasting valuable time.

iManage Work Email Management for Gmail provides simple yet powerful capabilities within the Gmail environment already familiar to G-suite users. The Send and File feature enables you to file emails to an iManage Work folder at the same time when you are sending it to a recipient. With a single action, you can bulk file individual emails and conversations with their document attachments. A visual cue indicates that filing is complete.

Documents in iManage Work can be attached directly to outgoing emails as an HTTP link or an attachment. You can preview document attachments and be alerted while sending an outdated copy, eliminating any risks associated with sharing the wrong version. Inbound attachments can be detached from the source email and filed as new documents or new versions of existing documents within the respective project. You can file multiple emails with multiple attachments as a single operation using iManage Work Email Management for Gmail.
