After you've imported users from an LDAP server or created them manually (Create and Manage Users), you must assign privileges to these users. IRM Server provides you with two ways to control the activities that users can perform:
Library-level default privileges: Lets you control the default privileges for all users who aren't added or included in a group.
Group-level privileges: Allows you to control privileges for specific groups of users. Privileges assigned at the group level override the library-level defaults.
