Content actions include most or all of the typical actions that are performed by a user on different parts or objects. For example, Checked-out record, Relocated record, Transferred record, Audited record, and so on.

Bulk Update can be performed on both file part records (content actions) and Matter/Box (system action).

NOTE: File Plan admin privilege or Bulk Update privilege is required to use Bulk Update.

To edit a content action:

  1. In the Library Manager, expand the Audit Controls node and then select Content Actions.
    The content actions provided by the IRM server are seen in the right pane. Refer to Content Actions.

  2. Select from the list of actions in the right pane and then right-click to select Edit from the menu.

  3. In the Edit Content Action dialog, clear the Enabled check box to make the action unavailable for the audit trail. By default, all ‌content actions are enabled.

  4. Select OK.
    The right pane in Library Manager is updated with the information.
