Optionally configuring the desktop clients for use with an authenticated proxy
If your organization uses an authenticated proxy for connecting to iManage Records Manager in the Cloud, you can configure the IRM desktop clients (and applications) to connect to an authenticated proxy server.
Browse to …\<username>\AppData\Roaming\iManage\RecordsManager, where ... is the location that you installed IRM Desktop Client(s).
Open WomDotNet.dll.config with a suitable editing program.
NOTE: If the WOMDotNet.dll.config file is located in the installation folder and not in the ...\<username>\AppData\Roaming\iManage\RecordsManager folder, it should be copied into the latter folder.
The desktop clients and applications share a single WomDotNet.dll.config file, so performing this configuration will enable an authenticated proxy for all (local) desktop clients and applications.
Locate the following parameter and change the value to
true:add key="com.imanage.cms.fc.cmsifc.UseAuthenticatedProxy" value=falseSave the WomDotNet.dll.config file.
NOTE: For information about how to configure Library Manager to connect to authenticated proxies, refer to Step 3: Optionally configure proxy server or authenticated proxy server connection in Setting up Library Manager for connection to IRM Cloud Service.
