IRM Data Loader is a command-line application designed to be run inside a terminal window or command prompt.

  1. Select Start and then select Run.

  2. Enter cmd and then select OK.

  3. In the command prompt window, browse to the data loader directory. The default installation directory is C:\Program Files(x86)\iManage\Records Manager\Data Loader\.

  4. Run the IRMDataLoader file using the following command:

IRMDataLoader

NOTE: The Import Data privilege must be granted for any user or group adding data to the IRM server. The user or group account running the import should also belong to the WorkSpace Creators group to import matters. The user should also be a member of Trustee Manager and Facility Administrator’s groups to be able to import group/users using the Data loader utility. Refer to Configure User Privileges.

Executing the command with no options displays a list of all available options. Refer to the following sections for details about each option.
