Views Designer, a tool within Application Designer, lets you modify the default fields and specify the fields that should be displayed as available for selection to view in the Records Manager client applications. You can customize the properties shown in the list view when browsing File Parts, Client, or Matter.

For more information, refer to Configuring Views.

After you've configured the views and published them to the Records Manager cluster, the same properties are made available for all users.

Users can further customize their individual views, to add or remove properties using the Choose Field dialog, in any of the Records Manager clients. These individual changes are stored locally, and affect only that user’s installation.

If you've added any extended properties or metadata tables, their properties can be viewed in the Browse and Select dialogs.

You can also configure which properties are shown in the Browse and Select dialogs. This helps you customize the column headings shown.
