You can further customize the views in the Records Manager clients using the steps described in IRM Desktop Client for Records Managers User Guide and IRM Desktop Client for Users Guide.
NOTE: A sample scenario, describing all the phases involved in customizing, is included in Sample Scenario. For more information about modifying and customizing Views in the sample scenario, refer to Phase 4 - Application Designer Views.
To configure views, the data model must be in draft mode. For more information, refer to Working on a Draft.
In the Navigation Pane of Application Designer, select View.
The Views Designer opens.In the Views pane, select a view. The fields selected for this view are seen as selected under the Field Chooser list and are also displayed as column headings in Views Designer. The properties for the selected component are displayed in the right pane.
For example, if you select the Box container view, all the available properties, including extended metadata for the Box component are displayed in the right pane.Use the following steps to modify a view:
To rearrange the order of the column headings, drag a column heading in the center pane to the new location.
To add a new column heading, place a checkmark in front of an unchecked property in the right pane.
To remove a column heading, remove the check mark from the property in the right pane.
NOTE: These settings provide defaults, but users can individually modify the order of column headings or remove default headings.
