You can modify the existing schema association for any control in the report. The steps to modify the schema association are described here using the Location report as an example.

To modify the schema association for a control:

  1. In the All Reports pane, select a report. The report opens in Report Designer.

  2. Rearrange and resize the controls that are already in the report to accommodate the new controls.

CAUTION: If you delete any control from a report, ensure that all references to that control are removed from the script. For example, if you manually remove the Record Status control from File Plan Summary report, you should open the script tab and remove all references to recordstatus.

  1. In the Controls pane, select a control—for example, a Textbox control. The Properties pane and the Schema Browser are updated with relevant information.
The schema associated with the selected control is highlighted in Schema Browser.

  2. In the Properties pane, select SchemaName.

  3. Select the browse Browse.png icon in the field. The Assign a Schema Value dialog containing the available schema opens.
The current schema field that's associated with the selected control is selected in Schema Browser.

  4. Select a different schema name from Schema Browser.

  5. Select OK to save the settings and exit. The SchemaName property is updated with the new schema name.

  6. On the toolbar, select Save.
Performing a Save operation updates the draft data model on the Records Manager server. Records Manager clients won't be able to access these changes until you publish the draft data model. For more information, refer to Publishing Changes.
