Vital Record Review reports provide a list of file parts that are due for review, based on their review cycle and the Last Reviewed Date for the file parts. For example, you can generate a report to determine the file parts that are due for review next week. With this report, you can select file parts and mark them as reviewed. Refer to Mark File Parts as Reviewed.
On the toolbar, select New Report. The New Report dialog opens.
From the Category list, select Files. A list of available report formats opens in the Formats list.
From the Formats list, select Vital Record Review Report. The grouping associated with this format is displayed below the Formats list.
From the Sort by list, select a sort order for the report.
Select Set Report Criteria. The Search Files Eligible for Review dialog opens. It enables you to enter any specific information to limit the scope of the report.
In the Period field, select or enter the vital record review cycle specified on the file part.
In the Review date field, specify a date. Only file parts that are eligible for review as of this date are listed in the report.
To specify additional criteria, complete any of the other fields in the Search Files Eligible for Review dialog.
Select OK to return to the New Report dialog.
To print a representation of the report criteria in the report header, select the Print criteria check box.
To change output options, select the Output drop-down list and select:
Generate Preview
Generate Preview and Open Print Dialog
Generate Preview and Print
Generate PDF
Generate XML
Generate CSV
To save this report in the Saved Reports node:
Select the Save this report as check box.
In the Name field, enter a name for this saved report.
Select OK. The report is generated and appears in Report View (unless Generate PDF, Generate CSV, or Generate XML was selected, in which case the file is created and saved directly).
