1. In the Navigation pane, select the Records tab.

  2. Search or browse for the matter. 

  3. Right-click the matter, and select Properties.

  4. In the Edit Matter dialog, clear the Allow new file parts check box.

  5. Select OK.

NOTE: For a matter that doesn't allow a new file part to be added, the icon is displayed in the attributes column.
