Job Queue Overview

Job Queue appears at the bottom of the screen when items are being processed—for example, reports being generated or bulk (multiselected) approvals being actioned. These are processed in the background, allowing the user to continue with other tasks. The user can browse to other pages in IRM Web Client and Job Queue will stay active on the screen.

Job Queue can be dragged to re-position it on screen, collapsed, and expanded using the button, and closed using the button. When closed, Job Queue can be reopened from the User menu on the navigation bar using the Show Job Queue option.

Generating a Report

Reports are generated from context menus within the application, or by using associated multiselect actions.

For example, a Box Detail report for a single Box can be generated from the context menu under the Boxes navigation bar. Box Detail reports for multiple Boxes can be generated from the multiselect action section on the same page. For more information about multiselect actions, refer to Multiselect in IRM Web Client.

When a report is generated, it's added to this queue.

Downloading a Report

When a report is successfully generated, the Download context menu action downloads the report in the selected format (PDF, XML, or CSV per what your organization has configured).

Cancelling a job

While a report, or set of approvals is still pending or in progress, the Cancel action cancels their processing.

Removing an item from the Job Queue

Items are removed automatically from Job Queue when they're completed (or downloaded). To remove an approval task, or a failed or canceled report, the Remove action can be selected.

NOTE: Job Queue is cleared on sign-out or page refresh.
