You may want to remove a matter from iManage Security Policy Manager (SPM) if you had registered the matter in SPM erroneously. 

You cannot remove a matter that is under an active hold.

NOTE:

Removing a matter in iManage Security Policy Manager does not remove the matter from other associated systems.

  1. Select Matters.
    The Matters page appears.
  2. To delete a matter:
    1. Select the row of the matter that you want to delete.
    2. Select  > Delete Matter. A dialog box appears asking you to confirm your action.
    3. Select Yes. The matter is now removed from SPM and you can no longer access the matter in this application.
