1. Select the document you wish to copy and drag it from the center panel.

  2. Hover over the tree nodes to expand the containers within.

  3. When you locate the destination folder where you wish to copy the document(s) press the Ctrl key (or the Option key for Mac users) and then drop.

  4. Based on the number of documents that you’re copying, your options to proceed are as explained in the table below:

  • Select View Properties in the progress dialog to browse to the location where the document is copied and view its properties.
    Or

  • Select Open the new copy link in the banner to open the document.
    NOTE: The open action follows your Title click settings for the File open or Microsoft 365 file open option as configured under User Settings in iManage Work. For more information, refer to Configuring title and row double-click actions.

  • Select View Properties in the progress dialog to browse to the location where the document is copied and view its properties.

NOTE:

  • The Copy operation fails if you don’t have enough permissions to the target folder (read/write or full access).

  • Copying documents to Search Folders isn't supported.

  • If users don't press the Ctrl key (or the Option key for Mac users) while dropping the document to the target folder, the document is moved instead of being copied.
