Any folders in the working folder that aren't synced display a red exclamation mark. iManage Drive attempts to remove these folders only if they're empty. If the folders contain data, then iManage Drive doesn't attempt to remove these folders. In these scenarios, users can manually remove these folders with an exclamation mark if they no longer require these folders.
