If you or your users are unable to delete files or folders from iManage Drive, one of the options is to use the resmon tool to determine which application or program is preventing you from performing the delete action by doing the following:

  1. Search for resmon tool in the Microsoft Windows task bar.

  2. In the resmon tool, select CPU tab.

  3. In the Associated Handles search field, enter the path of the folder of the file that can't be deleted. You can't directly use the M\: drive path as this is an alias. Hence, you have to enter what M\: drive points to. For example, if you want to check for M:\agreements, you have to type C:\Users\andrew case\iManageDrive\agreements.
The programs or applications using the folder or file are displayed in the search results field. You can use the results to troubleshoot the issue further.
