iManage Work enables you to save, search, and manage your files and emails securely from your mobile phone, tablet, or desktop using the same application. Using iManage Work, you can search items, work with documents, matters, emails, and folders, and manage security.
The integration with Microsoft Office for the web ensures that you can do the following even if you do not have Microsoft Office desktop application installed on your machine:
Create new files in a folder: You can create Microsoft Word (.docx), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), and Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) files within a folder in iManage Work using Microsoft Office for the web.
View and edit files: You can view and edit Microsoft Word (.docx), Microsoft Excel (.xlsx), and Microsoft PowerPoint (.pptx) files saved to iManage Work using Microsoft Office for web from your browser. In addition, you can view files that were created using Microsoft Office 97-2003 version.
Editing file properties: You can edit the properties of a file even when it is checked out using Microsoft Office for the web.
Edit files as co-author: If your users have iManage Work account ID or an external user account with iManage Work, they can co-author the files. You do not need to send an invite to initiate co-authoring. Your users can co-author files just by opening the same using Microsoft Office for the web.
