iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.9.0 and later, checks for Microsoft Framework .NET and Microsoft Edge WebView2 during installation.

NOTE:

  • When installing Microsoft WebView2 runtime, ensure you are installing it as an administrator. 

  • Microsoft WebView2 runtime, once installed, can automatically update itself to the latest stable version published by Microsoft. iManage Work Desktop for Windows picks up the latest Microsoft WebView2 runtime installed at run time.

  • Make sure an equivalent iManage Agent Services is installed before installing iManage Work Desktop for Windows when using third-party deployment tools like SCCM. For example, install iManage Agent Services 10.9.0 before installing iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.9.0.

    If iManage Agent Services 10.9.0 is unavailable when users try a manual or silent install of the iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.9.0 in stand-alone mode or iManage DeskSite 9.3.8/iManage FileSite 9.3.8 or later in Compatibility mode, the "iManage Agent Services 10.9.0 is required to install iManage Work Desktop for Windows." message is displayed.

  • Make sure Optimize for compatibility (application restart required) is set for each Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook applications under File > Options > User Interface Options > When using multiple displays. 

  • Uninstall the following iManage Work Add-ons: iManage OffSite, iManage DealBinder, iManage Share, and Workflow Manager.

  • Uninstall any versions of iManage DeskSite and iManage FileSite that weren't installed with iManage Work Desktop for Windows in compatibility mode.
    If iManage FileSite was installed previously in a non-compatibility mode, check that it is removed as an add-on in your data files from your mail account in Control Panel.

NOTE:
If a previous version of iManage Work Desktop for Windows is installed with or without iManage DeskSite or iManage FileSite in compatibility mode, you don’t have to uninstall iManage Work Desktop for Windows.
