Context menus on tree nodes
Now perform various operations related to items such as move, copy, creating shortcuts and so on from the context menus available on the tree nodes.
Show in Tree context menu
Use the Show in Tree option in the context menu to view the hierarchical path to the item in the tree. Only when the path to an item does not exist or was never loaded in Recent Matters, then stub nodes are shown and expanding the stub node populates the node.
If an item is present in present in multiple locations, then a dialog box appears displaying all available locations where the item is present.
Advanced Search in iManage Work Panel
Enable users to define and execute a multi-level search in the iManage Work panel in Microsoft Outlook, and save it for reuse later. Advanced Search is available in the docked and undocked mode.
Dedicated keyboard shortcuts to access the Filter Panel
After launching the filter panel, following keys can be used to navigate through and then perform further actions as explained in the table below:
View applied filters above the center panel
Filters applied in iManage Work are displayed in the FILTERED BY area above the center panel, thereby reminding users that the content is being displayed on their Work client as per their chosen filters.
Performing multiple operations in the tree using Drag-and-Drop
Moving document shortcuts:
Move one or more document shortcut(s) using a simple drag-and-drop between the center panel and the tree.
Moving workspace shortcuts within My Matters:
Move workspace shortcut(s) from the center panel to My Matters or the desired category inside them in the tree using drag-and-drop.
Moving folder shortcuts:
Move one or more folder shortcut(s) using a simple drag-and-drop between the center panel and the tree.
Moving shortcuts within My Favorites:
Move one or more shortcut(s) from the center panel to My Favorites or the desired category inside them in the tree using drag-and-drop.
Uploading documents from the desktop to the tree:
Upload document(s) to a container in the tree from your Windows explorer (Finder in Mac) using drag-and-drop.
Uploading folders from the desktop to the tree:
Upload folder(s) to a container in the tree from your Windows explorer (Finder in Mac) using drag-and-drop.
Viewing all available nodes at any level in the tree:
View more than 50 nodes at any level in the tree, upto a maximum of 500 nodes using the Show More option. Selecting Show More or hovering over to auto expand, displays the remaining nodes.
