Unlocking a co-authored document cancels the co-authoring session. This feature is useful when the initiator of the session decides that the co-authoring changes aren't required, and wants to end the session without saving the changes to iManage Work.
NOTE: If other users are editing the document or if you have it open on other devices or online, ensure that the document is closed before you try to unlock it.
Perform the following actions to unlock a document from a Microsoft Office application:
Unlock an open co-authored document: Browse to the iManage tab, locate the Co-Authoring group, and select Unlock.
Unlock a document that's not open: Browse to the iManage tab, locate the Co-Authoring group, and select Co-Authored Documents. Select the checked-out co-authoring document from the document list and then select Unlock in the right pane.
