Classic Co-Authoring
iManage Work Desktop for Windows provides two ways to co-author documents stored in iManage. Historically, iManage Work desktop clients Co-Authoring supports collaboration among individuals with the co-authoring link with auditing information kept within iManage. iManage Work Next Generation Co-authoring
With the release of iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.10.1, the iManage Work Next Generation Co-authoring feature is introduced, letting users open iManage Work documents in co-authoring mode directly within iManage Work at cloudimanage.com without requiring checkout, which enables others on the same instance to co-author simultaneously and see other collaborator’s changes in real-time. The iManage Work Next Generation Co-authoring feature works with the desktop versions of Microsoft 365 Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
NOTE: iManage Work Next Generation Co-authoring is only available if it's enabled by your iManage Administrator.
