Inserting footers in Microsoft Word
You can insert footers in Microsoft Word using keyboard shortcuts by doing the following:
- Open Microsoft Word and then open the document from iManage Work for which you want to insert footers. To open a document using keyboard shortcuts, see Opening documents saved to iManage Work.
- You can insert the iManage footer from either Insert tab or the iManage tab. To access these tabs, press ALT and press the shortcut key displayed in the application to access either the iManage tab or the Insert tab. For example, press ALT and press Y2 to access iManage tab or press ALT and press N to access the Insert tab.
Alternatively, use the RIGHT/LEFT and UP/DOWN arrow keys or the TAB key to access the Insert tab or the iManage tab - From either the Insert tab or the iManage tab, press the shortcut key displayed for iManage Footer option to insert the footer. The footer is inserted and the Header & Footer tab appears. For example, press Y4 to insert the iManage footer from Insert tab or press YC to insert the iManage footer from iManage tab. The iManage footer gets inserted in the Microsoft Word document.
- (Optional) You can also add additional details in the footer using the Field option. To add these additional options, do the following:
- Press the shortcut displayed for the Field option in the Header & Footer tab. The available options appear.
- Use UP/DOWN arrow keys or TAB key and then press ENTER to add your selection.
- Press the shortcut key displayed in the application to close the Header & Footer tab.
