To modify the filing options and change the iManage Work folder to which a user-created Microsoft Outlook folder is linked:

  1. Select an email in a linked Outlook folder.
  2. In the iManage Work panel, select Manage folder > Edit Link.
  3. In the iManage location picker dialog box that appears, navigate to and select the folder to which you want to file the emails.
  4. Select Private or Delete or both the options as required. 
  5. Choose Select.
    The linked folder properties are modified and all subsequent emails in the linked folder get filed per the latest specifications.

NOTE:

Only the emails that are added to the folder after you edit the link get filed to the new location. To ensure that all emails including existing ones are filed, you must unlink the folder and then link it again to this new location.
