Saving emails and attachments using the Quick File option
If you file emails by using the Browse and File and Send and File options in the iManage Work panel in Microsoft Outlook or drag emails into an iManage Work folder using Work Panel in Microsoft Outlook, iManage Work stores information about where the emails were filed. These locations are displayed in the Quick File drop-down list. This information is retained even after you:
Restart Microsoft Outlook
Restart your Mac
Sign-in again after iManage Work session expires
NOTE:
Like all other iManage Work panel options, you can use the Quick File option to file one email at a time. The iManage Work panel appears/is visible only when one email is selected. Due to Microsoft Outlook limitations, you can’t select multiple emails for filing in New Outlook.
To quickly file an email using the Quick File option:
Select the email.
From the Select suggested locations drop-down list, select a suggested or recent location.
(Optional) Select the Private or Delete check box or both the checkboxes.
Select Quick File. The email is filed to the selected location in iManage Work.
Alternatively, you can use the quick filing popup dialog box:
Select the email and select the quick filing popup icon (refer to Quick file icons). The Select Filing Location dialog box appears.
Select a suggested or recent location.
(Optional) Select the Private or Delete check box or both the checkboxes.
Select File. The email is filed to the selected location in iManage Work.
