Searching in the iManage app

You can search for an iManage email in the iManage app within Microsoft Teams.

  1. Browse to the iManage app in the App bar.

  2. Select the conversation box.

  3. Type help and press Enter to v iew the list of supported commands.
    Type find followed by the the required search syntax and corresponding metadata to find the email. Press Enter.

  4. From the search results, select an email to either Preview or Edit.

The search results displayed in the iManage app are visible only to the user performing the search and are not shared with any other users.

The following table explains the usage of search syntax:

Search for an email

  1. Type find #<email number> and select Enter for email number search.

  2. Type find subject <email subject> or find subject: <email subject> and select Enter for Email search using the subject.

  3. Type find keyword <keyword> or find keyword: <keyword> and select Enter for Email search using a keyword.

  4. Type

    • find f rom <username>

    • find from: <username>

    • find sender: <username>
      and select Enter for Email search using the sender details.

  5. Type find to <username> or find to: <username> and select Enter for Email search using the recipient details.


View list of supported commands

Type help and select Enter to view a list of all supported commands.


Sign in to iManage Work

Type signin and select Enter to Sign in to iManage.


Sign out of iManage Work

Type signout and select Enter to Sign out of iManage.
