1. In iManage Work at cloudimanage.com, do one of the following:

    • Select two versions of the document and access Ask iManage in the left side panel and then select Compare documents as shown.

    • Select two versions of the document and then select new_ask_04.png in the blue menu bar and then select Compare documents as shown.

    • Access Ask iManage home page and then select Compare documents.

      In the Select document dialog that opens, select the versions of the document you want to compare.

      Alternatively, you can search for documents in the search field and select them.

  2. In the Confirm document comparison dialog that appears, check if the documents to be compared are selected correctly and then select Compare. Select Swap Documents if you want to swap the documents for comparison.

  3. The comparison results open on Ask iManage home page. Select Open Comparison to view the comparison results and redline analysis of the document side-by-side.

  4. Hover over the Changes made column in the Compare Table and select the change made to view the change in document.

  5. (Optional) If you want to start a new comparison. Select new_ask_47.png New chat and then select Compare documents, In the Select documents dialog that appears, select the documents you want to compare and repeat Step 2 to Step 4.

Ask iManage automatically saves your comparison for future use. You can search for these results or rename them. For more information, refer Searching for previous comparison results and Renaming your comparison results.

NOTE:

  • Use the ask_latest_102.png to show or hide Ask Across panel.

  • If you're using a screen resolution less than 1024 pixels, the Ask Across panel is automatically hidden.
