You can use Ask iManage to compare two documents or two versions of a document and then view the redline analysis of the documents being compared.

You can compare the following file types:

  • Microsoft Word files (.doc, .docx, .dotx, dotm, docm, and rtf files)

  • Microsoft Excel files (.xls and .xlsx files)

  • PDF files (.pdf files)

  • WordPerfect files (.wpd files)

NOTE: If you're comparing a version of a document that is being actively co-authored, the latest updates won’t be displayed in the comparison results. This is because edits made during an active co-authoring session will take up to 15 minutes to be saved in iManage Work.
