Ask iManage although allows you to ask questions on a single or multiple documents, there's no persistent way for you to return to the set of documents you're previously interacting with. This leads to the following constraints:

  • Lack of continuity: You lose context when you close Ask iManage and have to manually reselect the documents to continue your work.

  • Inefficiency: You may repeatedly search for and reselect the same set of documents, leading to wasted time.

  • Lack of history: You can't easily track previously asked questions or revisit your thought process.

  • Disjointed workflows: If you're working on broader workspaces or projects, you need a structured way to return to relevant collections.

To address this, we've added an option called Projects to enhance continuity, efficiency, and organization in Ask iManage. With Projects, you can:

  • Save a collection of documents as a project for future access.

  • Access a project to continue asking questions on the same documents.

  • View prior questions and answers associated with a Project.

  • Modify a Project by adding or removing documents.

We’ve added Ask iManage to the iManage Work left navigation pane. Use this menu item to access the Ask iManage project page in iManage Work.
