Setting up Match Fields to match Templates with Target Workspace

While creating new flexible folders in the client application, the user can search for the templates based on the custom metadata match fields set on the templates. The m atch fields help to simplify template selection, so that the end user can see the filtered list of templates, and is not overwhelmed with choices. You can define these match fields using the option Match fields for filtering templates in Global application.

Maximum two fields can be selected from the drop-down list available1.

Match Fields

Description

Parent/child custom metadata

Provides match on the parent/child profile fields, such as practice/subpractice, of the target workspace . Templates matching to parent/child profile fields are displayed at the top followed by non matching ones. The valid values are Custom1-2 or Custom29-30.

Single custom metadata

Provides match on a single profile field, such as an office , of the target workspace . Templates matching to profile field are displayed at top followed by non matching ones. The valid values are Custom1-12, Custom29, and Custom30.
