IRM Data Loader recognizes data in an XML format. Various third-party utilities exist for converting or transforming the XML to a validated format which meets the requirements of Data Loader.

Data must be formatted according to the default XML schema provided with the Data Loader: Records Manager.xsd. The location of the schema is:

C:\Program Files\iManage\Records Manager\Data Loader\RecordsManager.xsd

The schema identifies all elements that can be loaded into the IRM Server.

Each data file must reference this schema, as shown here or in any of the example files later in this section.
