The server stores all dates and times in UTC (Universal Time Coordinated). The client applications (IRM Desktop Client for Records Managers and IRM Desktop Client for Users) automatically adjust dates and times accordingly based on the local timezone settings.
Before loading information from a legacy records management source, all dates and times must be converted to UTC time. Additionally, dates and times must be presented in the following format to be accepted by Data Loader:
yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ssZ
For example, July 31, 2005 10:10 PM would be presented as:
2005-07-31 22:10:00Z
The trailing letter Z must be appended to represent the GMT (or zero-hour) time zone.
