Event types can be deleted only if no retention events of the specific type exist.

To delete an event type:

1. In Library Manager, expand the cluster, then the library, and then Metadata.

2. Under Metadata, select Event Type.
   The individual event types display in the right pane of Library Manager.

3. Right-click the event type you want to delete and select Delete.
