CAUTION: If you delete any control from a report, ensure that all references to that control are removed from the script. For example, if you manually remove the Record Status control from File Plan Summary report, then you should open the script tab and remove all references to recordstatus.

If you used Object Modeler to apply new properties to objects in Records Manager, you can add the properties to the associated forms using Application Designer. For example, if you applied a new Boolean property named Approved to the File Part object using Object Modeler, you can add an Approved check box to the new, edit, and search forms for File part using Forms Designer.

You may also want to add the Approved check box field in the File Part Summary report.

Rearrange and resize the controls that are already in the report to accommodate the new controls.

In Reports Designer, the only controls that can be bound to a schema are Label, TextBox, and Check Box. The remaining controls are used for layout.

NOTE: For more information about metadata, objects, and Object Modeler, refer to iManage Records Manager Object Modeler Guide.
