Computed fields are pre-defined fields whose values are computed on the server side based on various schema entities and conditions. They can't be represented by a single schema field alone.
You can add any of the pre-determined computed fields to an existing or a new report. The steps to add a computed field to a report have been discussed using the File Plan Summary report as an example. The process is the same for any other report.
To add a computed field:
From the Control pane, select Computed Field, and then drag the control into the open report.
The Choose Computed Fields window opens. The computed fields that are defined by default for the selected report are seen in the list of computed fields.
If computed fields aren’t defined for a report, then a message prompts you that there are no computed fields available for the selected report. For example, the Box Audit History Report doesn't have any computed fields.Select the required computed field from the list and select OK.
The computed field is then associated with that control. On the toolbar, select Save.
