The following common controls are available for reports:
Label: Use this to display static text or data from your report content. The Label control output can be rotated with its Angle property, which is often useful in label reports.
TextBox: Use this to display static text or data from your report content. The TextBox control can be set to expand with its CanGrow property to take up as much space as your data requires.
Barcode: Use this to display data in a scannable barcode font, including the required start and end punctuation.
Computed Fields: Use this to display values derived from your raw data. Fully Qualified ID for locations and file plan items are typical examples of computed fields that the report designer offers.
Formatted Field: Use this to display multiple properties from your data in one field.
Security Policy Manager: Use this to display information about the presence of security rules provided by Security Policy Manager. This can indicate an inclusive or exclusive policy, and defaults to text that matches the tooltips available in the Attributes columns in the desktop and web interfaces.
Child File Part List: Use this to display properties of child items accessible by the current user at the time of report generation. If the control is on a label report or set to have a maximum size for any reason, you can also set the maximum number of children to list and optionally define a message warning of the overflow.
Active Hold: Use this to print a message showing that at the time of report generation, this item was affected by at least one hold that hadn't yet expired.
