Name: Enter a name for this location, for example: Fourth Floor, or File Cabinet 49.

Percent full: Move the slider control to reflect the actual used capacity of this storage location. This is an optional field which can be used to determine available space.
Valid for physical storage: This check box is selected by default. It indicates a real physical location where you can store the items.
While editing the file part, a non-physical location can’t be selected as Home Location.Home Location: Select the icon and then select the default Home Location to assign to matter and file parts that have this location as their Office/Department. For example, for the Office/Department Chicago, if the Home Location defined is Chicago File Room 1— matters and file parts having Chicago as their Office/Department are assigned Chicago File Room 1 as their default Home Location.
Bar code: Enter the barcode ID of this location.
NOTE:
A location valid for physical storage is one where a file could be located, such as a particular shelf in a room.
A location not valid for physical storage is a location that is further up in the hierarchy, such as the main office building.
This is a real location but isn't valid for physical storage as it isn't specific enough.
