Membership policies allow you to control the level of access that users have to clients and matters. With membership policies, you can establish ethical walls preventing unwanted access to privileged information.

Security policies are similar in design to membership policies, but can only be applied to individual file parts.

Membership policies may be created by privileged users at any time, but once they are applied to a client or matter, they can't be removed from the system.
