1. In the Navigation pane, select the Records tab.

2. Search or browse for the file part.

3. Right-click the file part, and select Properties.
   The Edit File Part dialog opens.

4. Modify the information in any of the available fields.
   For descriptions of these fields, refer to Create File Parts.

5. Select OK.

When editing a file part, it's possible to change the media type for the current file part from the Media Type dropdown.
The options displayed in the dropdown are a subset of all media types based on parent/child configuration as defined in Library Manager.

To maintain consistency and accuracy of information entered, the application helps you to reprint labels of modified file parts. Refer to Reprinting Labels.
